Data Collection

IsItDown.ai collects minimal data. We monitor LLM API status on your behalf by making periodic health checks. We do not store personal information unless you voluntarily submit it (e.g., contact form).

Status Checks

We perform automated health checks against public LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) every 30 seconds. These checks use your configured API keys (stored securely on Railway) and are never shared or logged beyond what's necessary for status reporting.

Benchmarks

If you use "Test Your Rig" to benchmark your local inference, we collect:

• Performance metrics (tokens/sec, latency)
• Optional hardware info (GPU, CPU cores, RAM) — only if you enable it
• Hashed session ID to prevent duplicate submissions
• Hashed IP address for deduplication

We never store raw IPs or personally identifiable information.

Incidents & Reports

If you report an issue, we store your report (description, hashed session ID) to help track outages. Reports are anonymous unless you provide contact info.

Storage

All data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use browser localStorage for caching status data on your device — this data never leaves your machine.

Third Parties

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We make API calls to public LLM services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) as part of our core function.

Cookies

We use only essential browser storage (localStorage) for caching. No tracking cookies.
